Occassionaly clocks come in that just need a straight forward process cleaning and thorough check up.
Shown here is a Year running Table Regulator with Equation of time.
Sweep center seconds, pinwheel escapement.
I am showing the process as this is such a well made clock.

At first it seemed the main problem was finger prints all over the movement dial and pendulum.
Closer inspection showed several the teeth on the Equation disk were bent , even short so the disk hung up in these places.
By carefully reworking the teeth they can be straightened and even extended.

Not a particularly sophisticated clock. Pinwheel escape, no jewels.  Gimalled suspension.  The long duration comes from precision construction and massive mainspring.

Like most quality construction no wear, and fortunately  no poor prior repairs.
Although the movement and other parts should not have had the fingerprints the only real damage was to the Equation disk.  I suspect someone tried moving the disk while the driving pin was engaged between teeth.
Great clock, simple but quality.
I like to work on interesting clocks.  I am grateful to have the customer trust allowing for such opportunities.
